As part of Menatelecom’s continued investment in their WiMAX 16e network expansion, Menatelecom on Wednesday said that it had awarded the 2012 – 2013 Managed Services contract to global giant Tech Mahindra.
Tech Mahindra will join Huawei Technologies in managing Menatelecom’s cutting-edge WiMAX 16e network and ensuring that Menatelecom continues to provide the most powerful internet packages in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The signing ceremony was attended by Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat, CEO and Managing Director of KFH-B and Chairman of Menatelecom, Senior Executives from Menatelecom and Krishna Gopal, Vice President of Tech Mahindra.
The agreement will enable Menatelecom to enhance and expand Menatelecom’s billing and customer relation management system. With Tech Mahindra’s Managed Services solution, Menatelecom will also significantly enhance the current OSS/BSS capabilities and enable it to offer advanced services to its customers.
“In a few short years since the launch of our WiMAX network, Menatelecom has changed the internet market and the way people connect to the internet in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We have provided faster, better and more flexible broadband solutions for both residential and corporate customers. We have also raised the standards for what customers should expect of their internet service provider. The new partnership with Tech Mahindra will only ensure that our customers continue to receive the best support possible and the most reliable broadband internet service,” Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat, said.
In terms of Menatelecom’s vision for the future, this agreement takes advantage of new technologies which will allow it to continue on a strategy of offering the latest advancements and sophisticated features to enhance the customer experience
