BBK, Bahrain’s pioneer in retail and commercial banking, launched its new “eStatement” service. BBK customers can now view, save, download and if necessary print all their bank statements online, instead of receiving paper statements by mail.
BBKs’ eStatement is an electronically designed statement looking like the paper one providing a fast, convenient, and free of charge service to BBK’s customers who can now access their statement conveniently anytime and anyplace of their chosen without the need to wait for any mailed paper statements. By viewing the eStatement online, customers will be able to retrieve their statements via www.bbkonline.com using their login Customer ID and ePIN.
For added convenience, statements going back up to 12 months can be viewed, saved, downloaded or printed at any time. By switching to eStatements customers will be helping to reduce paper consumption and therefore playing an important role in conserving resources and protecting the environment.
BBK customers who wish to register for the new eStatements service for some or all of their eligible accounts may either do this online through www.bbkonline.com or in person at any BBK branch. Once registered, customers will no longer receive paper statements by mail; rather they will receive an email or an SMS, depending on their preference, advising that their eStatements are available to view online. Customers should then log on to a secure page through www.bbkonline.com where they will see a list of all the eStatements for their accounts available for viewing or downloading as PDF files.
“At BBK we are always looking at how we can deliver banking services that are convenient to our customers. eStatements are secure, fast and will help our customers to monitor their financial affairs more easily. We are also keen to develop banking services which will reduce the impact on the environment – eStatements will help in this respect because each time a BBK customer decides to view or download a statement instead of printing it, paper will be saved,” Axel Hofmann, BBK’s Head of Retail Banking, said.
Customers will benefit from added convenience while at the same time be able to play their part in conserving resources and protecting the environment.
