Batelco’s, Enas Al Fardan, Manager Corporate Strategy, has been selected for the Global Telecoms Business (GTB) 40 under 40 2011 list. This list represents young experts under the age of 40 who are considered leaders of the telecoms industry in 2011 and potential leaders of the industry tomorrow.
Following her selection in June 2011, Al Fardan has attended the GTB 40 Under 40 Conference & Awards 2011 event, held recently in London.
Global Telecoms Business annually brings together the industry’s selected top 40 executives to a summit to discuss their views on the challenges and opportunities prevalent in the fast changing telecoms industry.
Franco Bernabè, Chairman and CEO of Telecom Italia and Chairman of the GSM Association presented Al Fardan and the other young telecom experts with award certificates during the two-day event. The Secretary General of the ITU, Hamadoun Touré was also in attendance to welcome award winners.
Al Fardan participated in a discussion panel, “Owning the Customer”, with her contribution being very well received by the organizers and attendees.
