Pakistan community on Friday participated in Muharraq Governorate’s Eid Festival aimed at paying a tribute to the leadership.
Pakistani community was among the leading foreign communities which presented colourful programmes including traditional dances performed by groups dressed in the traditional attires. The Pakistan pavilion was decorated with Bahraini and Pakistani flags and buntings.
The Governorate of Muharraq marked Eid Al-Adha festivities in style. A ceremony marking the festive occasion was held at Dohat Arad, in the presence of citizens, representatives of the Arab and foreign communities.
Muharraq Governor Salman bin Isa bin Hindi opened the ceremony.
The General Directorate of Traffic, the Civil Defence Directorate and the Coastguard Directorate and the Anti-Narcotics Directorate took part. Bin Hindi extended Eid greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander.
Bin Hindi thanked the Pakistan Community and spirit of oneness with Bahrain in all walks of life.
