His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, who hosted his weekly majlis at Riffa Palace, stressed the importance of national and human heritage, being a crucial catalyst for national development and progress and a permanent guarantor for Bahrainis to succeed and overcome all their crises.
He urged all parties to stick to Bahrainis’ long-dating ethics, based on balance, consensus, acceptance of others, patriotism and keenness to promote the country’s status and rule of the law.
“These deep-rooted genuine ethics are crucial to achieve justice and equality for all – beyond any extremism or bigotry”, he said. He voiced his optimism, urging all parties to rally under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the guarantor of national security and unity.
He stressed the importance of standing united to build the country, pointing out Bahrainis’ ability to excel in culture, education, investment in human beings and commitment to democracy. Addressing the Majlis audience, he said that Bahrain would always remain stable to achieve all that it aspires to. Members of the Ruling Family, senior officials, ministers, dignitaries, Shura Council members, Mps, municipal councilors, scholars, businessmen, social figures, academicians, intellectuals, journalists, diplomats and prominent ladies attended.
