The Bahrain Meditation Centre for Self Development took part in the International Conference on Self-development held recently in Mount Abu in India.
Chairman of the Bahrain Meditation Centre for Self Development Dr. Ibrahim Al Dousary chaired the Kingdom’s 35-member delegation to the conference, organized by the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University (BKWSU), an international non-governmental organisation with over 8,000 centres in 100 countries, territories and islands.
The Bahraini youths who took part at the event highlighted Bahraini people’s rich cultural heritage and national features, which was acclaimed by the participants and the organizers.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Dusary took pride in the Bahraini delegation’s distinguished participation at such a key international gathering, which, he reflected the Bahrain citizens’ yearn for security, safety and domestic peace following the regretful events that gripped the nation in February and March, 2011.
He also asserted that members of the delegation were real ambassadors for the kingdom.
He also called upon peace-loving people to attend the weekly workshops of the Um Al Hassam-based Bahrain Meditation Centre for Self Development.
The Bahrain Meditation Centre for Self Development is getting ready to host the second International Conference on Self-Development next April, 2012.
