Royal University for Woman conducted their Student Council Elections for the academic year 2011 – 2012. Among a number of students who ran for the elections, 5 students were elected.
Raneem AlAinizi was elected as president, Nayla Al Khalifa as Vice President, Sabeeka Al Shehi as Student Activity Leader, Noof Al Fadhel as secretary and Noor Al Mutlaq as Treasurer. The student elections allow students to practice their responsibility as student to improve their academic activities as well as the activities that built their characters to be future leaders under the national democratic process.
President of the Royal University for Women, Professor Mazen Juma, met with the new members of the Council. In his words of support to the new members, Prof. Juma, stressed on the importance of their role as women in the Bahraini society, encouraging them to increase the activities and events that build their characters to be future leaders and pioneers in all areas of Bahraini society.
