Batelco, Bahrain’s leading Telecommunications Company, received an Award of Excellence for companies holding ISO certificates at an award ceremony at the ballroom of the Armani Hotel in the Burj Khalifa under the patronage of Dubai’s Crown Prince Shaikh Hamadan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
At the celebration, which was organized by Tatweej Academy in collaboration with The Arab Administrative Development Organization, a number of Arab figures and leaders, as well as elite companies in the Arab region were recognized for their achievements in their respective fields.
Batelco Bahrain CEO Rashid Abdulla and Batelco Public Relations Manager Osama Al Saad received the award on behalf of Batelco from HH Shaikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Head of Dubai Culture and Arts Commission.
Abdulla said Batelco was delighted to win this award which highlights the quality of Batelco performance and services offered to its customers in all sectors.

“This recognition will certainly add to our continued drive to enhance our performance in all fields in order to serve the interests of our shareholders, customers and employees,” Abdulla, added.
President of Tatweej Academy Beyar McKerzel stressed the importance of the successes made by the winners in developing managerial performance in the Arab organizations. He said that honouring this elite group of leaders and companies that made administration achievements shows only a small part of the Arab innovation and creativity.
General Manager of The Arab Administrative Development Organisation praised the successes made by the honoured individuals and companies that deserved the Golden Medals.
Batelco recently won Telecoms Technology Investment of the Year award for the MENA region at the annual CommsMEA Awards.
