Seef Mall celebrates the 40th Bahrain National Day in a style by hosting colourful activities for kids by giving a sense of a national carnival at this special occasion. Hosting a number of exciting cultural events and activities for the family, Seef Mall is embracing the spirit of unity and heritage in bringing the community together for this milestone occasion.
As a part of the celebrations of the National Day, and His Majesty the King’s Accession Day and the Bahrain Police Day, the Ministry of Interior has organized a celebration at Seef Mall taking place from 14th to 17th December, 2011. The event has been organized to highlight the anniversary celebration of the establishment of the Bahrain Police force.
A programme and exhibition highlighting the services provided by the Ministry of Interior will take place with an aim of showcasing their responsibilities and constant dedication in performing their duties towards the community in aspects of safety and defense.
Seef Weekend Wonders continues with the ‘National Day Weekend’ set to take place on 16th and 17th December and invites all to express their true admiration for the Kingdom through their art. A celebration of the true spirit of the Bahrain National Day, the event aims to reflect the love and unity of the citizens and residents of the Kingdom. The competition is open to the public and participants are welcome to express their patriotism through paintings and sketches. As added attraction participants of the two-day event will be given free T-shirts branded ‘I Love Bahrain’. All the drawings and artworks will be on display at Seef Mall.
With an aim of supporting and highlighting local craftsmanship during the week, Seef Mall will also be playing host to ‘New Eyes on Tradition’- an exhibition that is being organized by the Shajara Tayyibah, a committee within the Bahrain Society for Women’s Development.
The three day event showcases a range of home décor products, furniture and unique creations of a number of local artisans and craftsmen with an aim to elevate Bahraini craftsmanship to International market standards.

Following the National Day Weekend, visitors and shoppers can look forward to the final segment of the Seef Wonder Weekends, which is the ‘ Carnival Weekend’ that is going to take place from 21st to 24th December 2011.
