Bahrain has witnessed many strides of development in economic and political sectors.
This was stated by His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, who received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, at the Premier’s court on Monday.
Both their Royal Highnesses emphasized that the Kingdom of Bahrain has seen distinguished economic and political development and openness and that openness is a necessity, however, national security remains important, and that security shall not override openness nor openness be at the expense of security and that controls which boost security should be harmonious with the requirements of openness, and that this calls for adoption of work behaviours aimed at encouragement and guidance in order to maintain the Kingdom of Bahrain as a pioneer under regional and international challenges and competition.
HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, who is also Chairman of the Economic Development Board, emphasized that both security and the economy are interlinked as integral and inseparable foundations, pointing out that the Kingdom of Bahrain shall always remain open and attractive with easy, flexible procedures, and that the principle of appraisal and constant follow up ensures stimulating values for business which support the civilized foundations upon which the Kingdom of Bahrain relies in making decisions both methodologically and procedurally.
Both their Royal Highnesses asserted that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s government shoulders the responsibility for security and protection of all residents in the Kingdom’s territory from any abuse or exploitation of the atmospheres of openness, and that procedures are smoothly going on, both appropriately and flexibly as befits the spirit of the age.
His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander accentuated that the return of major economic, sports and business events to the Kingdom of Bahrain means continuity of confidence in the capabilities of the Kingdom of Bahrain to host such events and that this reflects its solid stable situation.
