The number of pavilions at the Bahrain International Green Technologies Forum has exceeded 101, the organizing committee today announced. The pavilions belong to ministries and government departments, in addition to companies from China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, France, Egypt, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The BIGTF organizing committee said that the number of pavilion representatives and exhibition topped 700.
His Majesty’s Personal Representative and President of the Public Commission for the Protection of Marine Resources, the Environment and the Wildlife Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al-Khalifa opened the BIGT forum and exhibition 2012 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC).
The Public Commission is organizing the BIGTF2012 in cooperation with the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
Parliament Chairman Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani, ministers, senior officials and guests attended the opening ceremony.
Two agreements have been signed between Bahrain and German companies to benefit from cutting edge green technologies as part of efforts to protect the environment and the wildlife.
