The trendy new Nissan Micra hatchback went on public display in a spectrum of colours at a spectacular launch held at Seef Mall by Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, the exclusive Nissan distributor in Bahrain.
The outdoor event at the Chili’s parking lot, which featured a colourful laser music show and live DJ, was attended by special invitees, as well as regular mall goers, who were able to examine the cars and experience how it feels to sit behind the wheel.
The compact city car has already attracted much preliminary demand, especially among young professionals looking for a vehicle that expresses personality and individuality. Micra’s visual appeal is further enhanced by the broad range of fashionable colors available – ten in total – including three specialized colors: Spring Green, Night Veil Purple and Sunlight Orange.
Among the Micra’s key features is its efficient, largest-in-class 1.5-liter engine, its high levels of safety equipment, including dual airbags and its user-friendly and convenient equipment and interior design, with highly-versatile interior seat/stowage configurations. It has also been specifically engineered to provide the driver with nimble handling and a best-in-class turning circle, which is ideal for city driving.

This car is fun and stylish- this is an exciting option for the buyers in this segment. “Because of the very broad interest in this particular vehicle, we decided that a more public venue for the launch was more suitable to this model, rather than the usual exclusive indoor launch events, usually held at showrooms. We are pleased with the turnout for the show and have already received many requests for test drives,” he added.
Micra is a new entry from Nissan in the B segment and it stands out in one of the biggest customer segments in the market. The hatchback comes with a range of options to make city driving easier, and available in three trim levels: ‘S’, ‘SV’, and ‘SL’.
