His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince paid a visit to Samsung headquarters in Seoul, where he was received by the Vice President of the company Hyuk Sun-Kim and a number of senior officials.
Sun-Kim welcomed HRH and expressed his aspirations for the Korean technical solutions to contribute in a leap for the quality of economic and development activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
HRH said that the quest to create productive partnerships is a natural progression based on what the Kingdom of Bahrain has achieved from positive results in various fields, to enrich it by making use of successful experiences and adapting them to suit Bahrain’s needs.
HRH added that Samsung is one of the grand examples of the Korean success stories, a country which has established itself as one of the most creative in the world. He expressed his admiration for Samsung’s broad prospects of innovation, a pioneering company in technology, and confirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s interest in forming broader areas of cooperation with Korea.
HRH the Crown Prince thanked Sun-Kim and the senior officials at Samsung for their warm reception, considering this visit an inspiration for what could be achieved through a Bahraini-Korean cooperation.
The visit also included a complete presentation of the company’s products and programs, and HRH the Crown Prince then headed to the national cemetery of Seoul to visit the Monument of the Unknown Soldier.
