Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain Dr. Abdul Mohsen bin Fahd Al-Mark praised to the Custodian of the Two Holey Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Saudi Royal family and extended his congratulations and blessings on the 7th anniversary of the King’s accession to the throne.
Dr. Al-Mark congratulated the Saudi people, the Arab and Islamic nations on this national and dear occasion in a speech he gave today, saying that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the era of the Saudi Monarch King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz, witnessed a significant cultural and progressive development while still maintaining Islamic fundamentals, in a continuance of the founding King’s approach, the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, exhibiting the tolerance of Islam and its peaceful coexistence with all religions and beliefs.
Dr. Al-Mark also added that the Saudi Monarch King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz was able in his wisdom to enhance the Kingdom’s regional and international roles in politics, economy and commerce, giving it a prominent voice in global dialogues. He added that the Saudi Monarch King continues with his brothers in the GCC to seek the welfare of the region, his support to Bahrain in granting it 1 billion Saudi Riyals to establish a medical city affiliated with the Arab Gulf University is proof of his continued support to the university.
Dr. Al-Mark also said that the Saudi Monarch King is keen, along with the leaders of GCC, to maintain the region’s security and stability, having stressed to the GCC leaders, in their last summit in Riyadh, the importance of moving from a mere cooperation to an actual union.
In the realm of the Saudi Monarch King KSA witnessed a boost in the number of universities, jumping from 8 to over 20 universities, and it continues to open colleges, technology and health institutes and colleges for women, in addition to the doubling in the numbers of Saudi scholarships within the Custodian of the Two Holey Mosques’ Program for foreign scholarships, and his continued work for the establishment of several economic cities, along with the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh.
