Speaking during his meeting with US Senator John McCain, HRH Prince Salman said that solution for the situation in Bahrain was a comprehensive national solution in order to protect the country’s achievements and move forward firmly towards more accomplishments.
Prince Salman expressed his appreciation towards the United States stances that were supportive of Bahrain within the framework of the friendly ties existing between the two countries.
He also stressed the rejecting violence and affirming of finding solutions with consensus of all was the best way to achieve the aspiration of everyone in Bahrain.
McCain said that the United States hailed the strong bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain and lauded the efforts exerted by the country towards the implementation of the recommendations made by the Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry (BICI).
McCain also affirmed the importance of the stability of Bahrain in the region for the United States.
