The Firm (TF), an international private members networking organization for business development and intrapreneurship, announced that the Global Intrapreneurship Forum 2012, taking place in Bahrain on May 27-28 2012 at the Gulf Hotel, will be held under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Hassan A. Fakhro.
The first ever global conference of its kind dedicated to supporting the development of intrapreneurship within corporations and SMEs will feature an “Executive Management Workshop on Intrapreneurship” delivered by Dr. Gifford Pinchot, a leading exponent of intrapreneurship and responsible for coining the words “intrapreneur”, “intrapreneuring” and “intrapreneurship”. He is also a member of The Firm’s International Advisory Board and a leading author, speaker and consultant on launching businesses and innovation management.
The “Executive Management Workshop on Intrapreneurship” is designed for business leaders at corporations and SMEs and will focus on encouraging them to develop internal intrapreneurship cultures and programs within their organizations. It will teach executives and managers how best to foster talent and drive the development of new ideas and ventures.
The core concept of intrapreneurship is to help those individuals working within large corporations and SMEs better understand how they can leverage their deep industry knowledge and understanding of the business gaps within their sectors to create profitable, new concepts and companies.
