Silah Gulf (Silah), has won for the second consecutive year the award for Best New Outsource Service Provider at the Annual Middle East Call Centre Awards (MECC ’12) in Dubai, UAE. Competing against major regional players, Silah also took home the prize for Best Technology Platform and Best Reporting.
Highlighting Silah’s commitment to delivering an exceptional customer service experience for their private and public sector clients, these accolades confirm Silah’s leading position in the BPO and contact centre industry in the GCC. The Bahrain headquartered company services customers in the region including Kuwait, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
“Silah is now recognised in the region as a leading BPO for companies wanting strategic outsourcing. Companies around the region are recognising that our effective customer experience management methodologies have a direct positive impact on business growth,” Joe Tawfik, Silah’s CEO, said.
Silah’s technology platform was recognised at the award ceremony as the best in the Middle East. Besides offering full multi-medium capabilities (voice, video, email, internet, and fax) and self-service solutions, the platform offers its clients a Call Centre in the Cloud solution. Customers are able to access the same leading technology at their premises using only a data link and can avoid paying for expensive infrastructure.
Silah’s world class reporting was also recognised at the award ceremony. “Reporting is of critical importance to us because it provides the key means of communicating to our customers how their services are performing. We aim to provide our customers with value-added reporting that is often missing from their own organisations. Insights into customer behaviour can really help a company fine-tune their market offers to their customers,” added Tawfik.
Launched in September 2010, Silah is a joint venture between Bahrain’s eGovernment Authority and UK-based Merchants. Working for private and public sector clients, Silah currently operates the National Contact Centre for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
