Batelco is providing free WiFi for the Bahrain Public Relations Association (BPRA) headquarters in East Riffa, as part of its strategic partnership with the Association.
The BPRA is instrumental in the development and implementation of new ideas that serve to enhance the public relations industry in Bahrain and the region. Members of the group gather frequently to hold discussions about new developments within the PR industry and adjacent industries such as media, event managements, protocols and media research.
Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that Batelco was very happy to support the BPRA through a strategic partnership that was beneficial to both organisations.
Batelco had also sponsored the BRPA 6th annual Gulf Forum for practitioners of public relations which were held from June 5 to 7 at the Bahrain Zallaq Sofitel Resort under the patronage of His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Media Affairs and Honorary President of the BPRA Society Dr. Nabil bin Yakoob Al Hamar.
BPRA Chairman Dr. Fahd Ibrahim Al-Shehabi extended his great appreciation to Batelco for their ongoing generous support.
“The provision of free WiFi at our premises in Riffa will be a great benefit in providing fast and efficient internet services to enhance our efforts in fostering the aims of the Association,” he added.
Batelco has been supporting the BPRA since its inception in 2006. This sponsorship is in line with Batelco’s commitment to CSR initiatives which includes invaluable support to social entities.
