Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa will leave for Saudi Arabia on Saturday heading Bahrain’s delegation to the 94th meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, which will be held at the Secretariat General headquarters in Riyadh.
The meeting will spotlight key GCC issues, including mainly the GCC Railway Project, the Customs Union Authority, joint market and the ongoing preparations for the 33rd GCC Summit in Bahrain.
A joint meeting will also be held between the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, the monetary agencies and central banks Governors committee and the International Monetary Fund Director General to discuss the latest regional and international financial and economic developments.
