HRH was speaking as he received at Riffa Palace Yemeni Representatives Council Speaker Yahya Ali Al Rai and his accompanying delegation, in the presence of Representatives Council Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani.
HRH the Crown Prince was presented with a letter to His Majesty the King from Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hedi.
HRH hailed Yemen’s clear and unwavering stances regarding Arab and Islamic issues, pointing out the need to support the efforts made to maintain Yemen’s security and stability and pave the way for sustainable development there.
HRH praised solid historic ties binding both countries, voicing keenness to further bolster bilateral relations for the common interest of both countries.
The Yemeni Representatives Council Speaker conveyed the greetings of the Yemeni President to Bahrain’s leadership as well as his best wishes of more progress and prosperity to Bahrain.
He voiced his country’ respect and appreciation of Bahrain’s supportive stances to Yemen’s stability and unity.
The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Court Advisor for Political and Economic Affairs Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Crown Prince Court Head Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa and First Deputy Speaker of the Representatives Council Abdullah Khalaf Al Dussari.
