The GCC foreign ministers will hold their 125Th council session on Wednesday in Manama, Bahrain.
Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa will chair the meeting, in preparation for the forthcoming 33rd GCC Summit, scheduled to be held in Bahrain next month (December).
The regional, Arab and international developments of concern to the six-member bloc will be on the agenda, in addition to the reports submitted by the ministerial committees.
GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani said that key issues relating to strategic dialogue between the GCC member states and other countries and global blocs would be discussed.
The ministerial council will also hold a separate meeting with the Jordanian foreign minister as well as the Moroccan foreign and international cooperation minister to discuss means of promoting strategic partnership with both countries.
