Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro opened a state-of-the-art showroom of Al Zayani Commercial Services (AZCS) in Adliya in the presence of senior government officials, businessmen and board members of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
Upon arrival, the Minister was received by His Majesty King’s Advisor on Media Affairs Nabeel Al Hamer AZCS Company Chairperson Afnan Rashid Al Zayani, Product Manager of Ricoh Tanzel and officials.
During the opening ceremony, the minister affirmed government and the Ministry to provide all means of support possible for small and medium enterprises sector in order to enable and support them to enhance their capacity and competitiveness not only locally by in a global scale. Dr. Fakhro noted in this regard to the integrated plan and strategy adopted by the Ministry and currently implemented in cooperation and coordination with the private sector and institutions.
The Minister toured the company and was reviewed on mechanisms adopted to accomplish such services and products in advance and modern methods that undertaken by Ricoh company that represented by Alzayani Commercial Services in Bahrain.
AZCS was the first to introduce Rico digital copiers in the Kingdom of Bahrain and since many years maintaining the leadership in digital printing products and solutions.
“We have as many 12 products under one roof at the AZCS new showroom and we will continue to offer the cutting edge technology through our partners to the local market in Bahrain,” M. Zulifquar, Manager Office Automation division told the 24X7 News.
“We are confident with the new premises the customers can have on-hand experience of products and can get acquainted with host of solutions AZCS offers,” he added.
Al Zayani Commercial Services has been providing the latest technology in products and services such as Ricoh copiers, laser printers, projectors, Acer projector and interactive board, scanners for high speed devices and many other sophisticated products.
During the opening Forefront Technologies display the latest gadget called the greenbox 5001 a multifunction input device that captures digital records, physical documents, identity documents and drivers licences as well as fingerprints, digital signatures, smart card data and identity photograph.
“The green box functionality can be used for the verification of a n individual as require d by various organisations during any enrolment or registration process,” Johni R. Jabbor, Regional Sales Manager at Forefront Technologies, based in the UAE, told the 24X7 News.
“The product was recently launched at Gitex 2012 in Dubai and the Kingdom of Bahrain is the second country in the region where it has been officially launched at AZCS,” he added.
“The green box document scanning functionality generates digital records of supporting documentation, eliminating the need to make photocopies, enables paperless transactions while transaction time reduced dramatically, verifies individuals identity,” he said.
“The use of this innovative technology, eliminates the management, transport and storage of paper records and reduces your carbon footprint dramatically,” Johni, added.
