During the meeting Shaikh Fawaz expressed interest in educational exchange programs and training opportunities in the United States, including private industry and governmental training courses for Bahrainis working in telecommunications. The primary focus would be on training and implementing best practices in communications, offering opportunities and exchange programs to both the public and private sector.
“I am pleased that the US Embassy in Bahrain will be coordinating with the Ministry to deliver better opportunities for training in the field of communications,” the Minister said.
“This field is fast developing and we have to make sure that our services and especially our human resources develop along with it.”
