Heads of the delegations to the 21st Conference of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), currently held in Tunisia, have endorsed the Kingdom’s proposal, submitted by Minister of Education Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, to name one of the halls of ALECSO’s new building after the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
This came as the Deputy Saudi Minister of Education and Head of its delegation to the conference Dr. Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti announced that the Saudi Monarch donated $1 million to complete the construction of ALECSO’s new building.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain’s proposal was welcomed by the heads of delegations who valued highly King Abdulla’s kind gesture,” the Minister of Education Majid Al Nuaimi in a statement said.
