A Bahraini Court jails Cop for seven years

Chief Prosecutor, Head of the Special Investigation Unit, Nawaf Abdullah Hamza stated that the third high criminal court has issued its ruling to punish the accused policemen to seven years in prison in a case of beating to death of Ali Abdul Hadi Mushaimaa.

“Details of the incident indicates that the defendant was a member of the security units in Al-Daih area in February, and during dealing with one of the rioting cases in the area, he fired bullets from his rifle at the victim causing him injuries led to his death, therefore the Third High Criminal Court punished him with the mentioned judgment,” the Chief Prosecutor said.
