Michael W Smith will perform in Bahrain in an event dubbed as “one voice-a prayer for peace” and organized jointly by the Christian community in Bahrain and Ta’Ayoush-Bahrain Society of Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions.
The concert is scheduled to be held at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa town, Bahrain on the 28th February 2013 at 6:30pm.
The event is organized under the Patronage of Samira Bint Ibrahim Bin Rajab, State Minister for Information Affairs, the government’s official spokesperson.
The aim of the event is to bring all the Christian Community together to worship God and to pray for peace in one voice.
Michael W Smith and his team have been contracted by Voice International – Dubai, for a five nation tour including Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi). Voice has hosted 11 international events across GCC and Asia performed by renowned Artists.
According to Smith’s website, he will arrive in Bahrain on the 27th Feb along with his team after his concert in Singapore.
A 100 – member choral accompaniment backing up Michael W Smith is another highlight of the event. This Choir was formed by intensive auditions of more than 200 participants that draw on the best talent from the many churches across the Kingdom.
The tickets are priced at BD5, BD10, BD15 and 20. Tickets are available at the National Evangelical Church, St Christopher’s Church, Sacred Heart Church, Nonoo exchange in Juffair, Saar and Exhibition Road.
