The Turkish Premier Rajab Tayyeb Erdogan expressed Turkey’s full-fledged support for Bahrain and lauded the measures Bahrain has taken so far to safeguard its stability and security, stressing the need to adhere to the principle of non-inference in Bahrain’s domestic affairs.
Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander to the Turkish Premier Rajab Tayyeb Erdogan during their meeting on Wednesday.
Shaikh Khalid also briefed the Turkish Prime Minister on the latest developments in the kingdom.
Premier Erdogan lauded the outstanding relations bonding Bahrain and Turkey and their brotherly peoples and hailed the growing bilateral cooperation at all levels, which, he asserted, reflects their keen interest to constantly boost them.
The Foreign Minister conveyed to Erdogan the Bahraini wise leadership and people’s appreciation of Turkey’s genuine brotherly supportive stances towards the kingdom, testifying to the distinguished ties bonding them.
The two sides also reviewed the latest regional and global developments, and called for the need to double efforts for the sake of achieving peace and security across the region.
