Bahrain’s leading business communications provider held a workshop recently for one of its key customers, Bahraini retail and commercial banking institution BMI Bank. The workshop forms part of Batelco’s strategic key initiatives aimed at achieving improved experiences for its business customers with the aim of exceeding their expectations.
A number of solution based services that are considered crucial for the success of a major organisation were discussed and presented at the workshop, including Data Centre provisioning, Local & Global Data Development, IMaaS (Infrastructure Management as a Service), and CCTV (Closed Circuit Television).
Batelco Manager Banking and Finance Segment Kamal Jamal who attended the workshop welcomed the visitors and extended Batelco’s appreciation to BMI Bank for being one of Batelco’s key customers and for attending the workshop which provided opportunities for both organisations to build on their established relationship.
The main goals of the workshop were to provide the BMI Bank representatives with an overview of Batelco’s latest products, services and solutions and also to listen to their feedback regarding the bank’s experiences with Batelco’s network, after sales support and products and services, in addition to indentifying any issues they may have.
As part of the workshop, the BMI Bank representatives visited Batelco’s Customer Experience Centre which is a state-of-the-art facility designed and developed around the needs of customers giving them the opportunity to experience the latest innovative products and services offered by Batelco. The Centre features all of Batelco’s latest communication and ICT products, services and solutions in one convenient and modern location. Experienced consultants are on hand at the Centre to answer any questions and provide businesses with advice on the best solutions for their requirements.
Among the key products and services showcased at the Centre are Batelco Network Infrastructure, Data Center, Unified Communications, Collaboration and Mobility solutions. Also included are comprehensive Physical and IT Security Solutions, high speed data and internet connectivity along with all relevant management tools.
The visitors also visited Batelco ideas, a new innovation centre that gives visitors a sneak peek into the future of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Batelco’s ideas Centre is a totally modern facility, which features the latest communication technologies and emerging services still in development. The Centre is a showcase for the future of communications and features a range of Smart Home services including Scenario Control, which will allow users to have control of various elements in their home such as lights and sounds at the single touch of a button using smart mobile applications. Also on show are new technologies like Digital Signage which represents the future of digital interactive marketing. Additionally visitors can experience firsthand a variety of gadgets that use Proximity Communications and M2M (Machine to Machine) technology.
