Bahraini Ambassador to Qatar Wahid Mubarak Sayar expressed confidence in success of the upcoming Arab Summit, slated to be held in Doha by end of March, in coming out with resolutions that will further boost pan-Arab work and contribute to solving pending regional issues.
“We are confident that the summit will come out with decisive resolutions that will back up and develop pan-Arab work,” he said.
He lauded the wisdom and political statesmanship of the Amir of Qatar Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani as well as Qatar’s status in the Arab and international scene.
He added the Arab nation is undergoing exceptional and hard circumstances that necessitate unity to confront them.
He voiced certainty that the Arab leaders will accord special care to crucial Arab issues for the best interest of the Arab nation.
He pointed out that the Palestinian issue and the Syrian crisis will undoubtedly top the summit’s agenda.
He added that the initiative of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to set up an Arab Human Rights Court will occupy central stage in the deliberations.
