Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Ithmaar Development Company (IDC) Mohamed Khalil Al Sayed, after the ground breaking ceremony of Dilminia project on Thursday, said the project would stir the national economy by attracting investments and creation of 14000 new jobs in the Kingdom.
In a statement he expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Premier for patronising the ceremony, which, he said, reflects the government’s constant support for mega development projects.
He explained that the $ 1.6 billion Dilmunia Island project covers 125 hectares and includes residential areas, with a total of 4500 housing units, hotels (9%), shopping centres (10%) and health care and fitness services (17%), noting that Dilmunia will offer international standard health and wellness facilities in a resort-style environment.
He pointed out that the real estate market has grown recently, which, he said, reinstated trust in it and helped Bahrain regain its stable financial rankings by mega financial firms.
He expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HM the King, HRH Premier and HRH Crown Prince for their constant support for the real estate sectors and investments activities in the kingdom.
He added that the project, which includes four three-year phases, will general thousands of job opportunities and consolidate the construction, real estate and tourism industries in the Kingdom
