His Royal Highness, Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, paid a visit to the UK Embassy to Bahrain where he offered condolences on the demise of Former British Prime Minister Baroness Margaret Thatcher.
HRH Premier wrote a statement in the condolences record in which he lauded the Baroness Thatcher’s contributions to her nation and firm stances in defence of just causes.
He affirmed that the world has lost a great leader whose historic stances will be remembered for long, praising her role in strengthening Bahraini-UK ties.
During his meeting with the British Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay, HRH Premier hailed former UK Prime Minister’s crucial role in upgrading bilateral relations at all levels, stressing that she brought about landmark development strides all over her tenure and that her historic stances towards Bahrain are unforgettable.
Ambassador Lindsay expressed pride in HRH Premier’s noble feelings, asserting that the visit reflects the deep-rooted bilateral relations.
