Bahrain-UAE Foreign Ministry Undersecretary of Regional and GCC Affairs Ambassador Hamad Ahmed Alamer chaired a preparatory coordination meeting prior to the 7th Session of the Joint Supreme Committee on Cooperation between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The meeting was attended by representatives from government bodies responsible of areas of cooperation with the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting discussed various fields of cooperation that are going to be flouted on the negotiation table with the UAE side in the Joint Supreme Committee on Cooperation meeting scheduled to be convened in Abu-Dhabi on 21- 22 April, 2013 and co-chaired by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two brotherly countries.
The meeting also explored the viability of organizing the “Road Show” and “Invest in Bahrain” forum which are going to take place in cooperation and coordination with the Economic Development Board, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bahrain, Tamkeen, the ministries and relevant governmental bodies, and private sector corporations.
Ambassador Hamad Ahmed Alamer underlined the vitality of the cooperation meetings between Bahrain and UAE that emanated out of the fraternal deep rooted bonds between the two brotherly countries and people.
These joint meetings reflect the keenness of both countries in developing and bolstering bilateral relations that strengthened and consolidated as a result of reciprocal visits by the leaderships of the two brotherly countries.
Alamer noted that Bahrain will reiterate the “Road Show” and “Invest in Bahrain” successful experience to promote Bahrain and investment opportunities offered by the Kingdom of Bahrain to bolstering economic development, as well as deepening and cementing the relation with UAE in all fields.
