His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received today at Al-Safriya Palace US Ambassador Thomas Krajeski and the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and Commander of the US 5th Fleet Vice Admiral John W Miller.
They extended to HM the King the delight of the United States following the positive and fruitful results yielded by the recent visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to the US, during which he held key talks with President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and US Administration senior officials.
HM the King welcomed the two officials, hailing deep-rooted historical relations, joint coordination and steadily-growing cooperation in all fields between the two allies and partners.
He extended his greetings to President Barack Obama, stressing Bahrain’s firm keenness on bolstering bilateral relations in all fields. He paid tribute to the United States, commending its indispensable and pivotal role in maintaining regional security and stability.
HM the King thanked the US ambassador for his continuous and constructive efforts to consolidate friendly relations, commending the role of Vice Admiral John Miller in promoting defence and military cooperation between the two friendly countries.
He also hailed the successful visit of HRH the Crown Prince, which represented a quantum leap strengthening Bahrain-US cooperation. HM the King, Krajeski and Vice Admiral Miller discussed regional and international political developments.
