The Supreme Council for Women (SCWO)’s General Secretariat organized a workshop on retirement regulations in collaboration with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) themed (Definition of Retirement and Pension Laws and Benefits) during the period 26-27 June 2013.
The workshop included an introduction on law and key rights from retirement and explanation of types of job-related injuries, which is entitled to a pension and under what conditions in addition to the relevant laws pertaining to loans and joining or replacement of supposed or previous periods.
The workshop was conducted by lecturer Mohammed Shams Al-Ansari the director of data processing department, Maram Isa Al-Kawwari the head of preparation and settlement as part of the SCW’s keenness on keeping employees informed about their job entitlements in accordance with the GOSI regulations in order to maintain the effect of learning for a lifetime and to apply the process of practices which ensure personal and vocational self-development through learning, gaining expertise and knowledge and boosting efficacy, productivity and competitiveness in the community.
