His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa affirmed the Government’s commitment to the rule of the law, justice and equality as key pillars of its policies.
“Bahrain has always been a country of order, law and institutions”, he said as he began his visits to Ramadan Majlisses.
He said that no one is above the law nor does he have any sovereignty over the rule of the law, stressing the Government’s unwavering commitment to these principles.
He paid tribute to the security forces for their commitment to the law despite ferocious challenges they are confronting in an attempt to drive them into a confrontation which may subvert national security and stability.
“I salute every policeman who assumes his duties with great dedication to maintain security and impose the state leverage in compliance with the law”, he said.
HRH the Premier stressed the importance of enforcing the law on all, dismissing as untrue claims alleging the law is being implemented selectively.
“Those who distort facts and claim the law is being enforced selectively will have no one to pay heed to their allegations”, he said, stressing Bahrain’s firm commitment to human rights standards as well as keenness on justice.
He stressed Bahrain’s success in foiling the terror acts and confronting terrorists with the force of the law, thwarting plots aimed at derailing Bahrain’s prosperous march and landmark.
The same terror masterminds have resorted to fabricating fallacies and spreading baseless allegations in a desperate attempt to promote their mantra, but their designs were wrecked thanks to the honourable stance of Bahrain’s loyal people and the Government’s efficient approach in dealing with the recent events.
Visiting the majlis of the President of the Supreme Islamic Affairs Council Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Khalifa, HRH the exchanged greetings marking the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan, praying Allah Almighty to protect the Kingdom of Bahrain and bless its people with security.
He urged amity, harmony cohesion and the values of peaceful co-existence to be promoted in this month for the sake of national unity in a homeland that embraces all its citizens.
HRH the Premier then visited the majlis of Shaikh Ibrahim bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, where he exchanged greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
He stressed the importance of Ramadan visits in cementing social relations and promoting amity between all people, stressing deep-rooted common history and culture as well as the long-standing spirit of closely-knit family.
He stressed the crucial role of majlisses as platforms bringing people together to debate key issues that enrich the march of national work and benefit the nation and citizens.
HRH the Premier then paid a similar visit to the majlis of the Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa where he urged national unity to preserve national gains and hard-won development achievements in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
He stressed the importance of benefiting from the atmosphere of openness and freedom which is prevailing in the Kingdom of Bahrain, cautioning any misuse of liberties or heeding calls that threaten the country’s social fabric and national unity.
HRH the Premier then visited the Majlis of Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa where he exchanged greetings marking the advent of Ramadan.
He paid tribute to the security forces, hailing their tremendous efforts and sacrifices to protect Bahrain’s security and stability.
“The Kingdom of Bahrain will always remain an oasis of security”, HRH the Premier said, rejecting any compromise when it comes to national security.
He described the path of violence as rejected on religious and ethical grounds, saying the stability – not terror – builds nations and promotes progress and prosperity.
