The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs announces for the kind public that the Sighting Panel will hold its session at the meeting hall at the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Wednesday night 29th of Ramadan, corresponding August 7th 2013, on the occasion of the advent Eid Al Fitr to receive news and witnesses of sighting the crescent of the month of Shawwal 1434 Hijri. Therefore, it requests the kind public, those who witness sighting the crescent to come to the panel to testify with that.
Marking the occasion, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs congratulates all those have fasted the month, performed its night prayers, on receiving their Eid with joy and happiness. The Council also congratulates those kind people who have given the alms to the poor and needy, or provided clothes for the orphans, or gave them charity to make them happy, asking Allah to accept their fasting and prayers and double their rewards.
The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs asks Almighty Allah to accept the fasting of the people in this holy month, preserve the country from evil and sedition, and prevail security, tranquility, prosperity and welfare under the wise leadership of HM King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the respected government led by HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the support of the Crown Prince HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs also asks Almighty Allah to bestow benevolence and blessings on the Royal Family, the loyal people of Bahrain, and the Islamic World.
