His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Saturday arrived in the Chinese capital Beijing on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
HM the King will, during his visit, hold talks with President Xi Jinping and Chinese officials on means of development bilateral relations and expanding the horizon of joint cooperation between the two countries, in addition to the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
HM the King will attend the opening of the first China-Arab Exhibition which will be held in the city of Yinchuan in Ningxia Hui.
His Majesty the King was received, on his arrival at the Beijing International Airport, by the representative of the Chinese Government, Mingshan, Assistant Foreign Minister of China, Ambassadors of the two countries, Bahrain’s Honorary Consul in Hong Kong Dr. Y C Chow, Arab Ambassadors accredited to Beijing and a number of Chinese senior officials.
