The Cabinet on Sunday discussed and approved the memorandum presented by the Minister of Industry and Commerce on the establishment of a central registry of all the treaties, agreements and memoranda of understanding that are in force in the Kingdom of Bahrain, whether bilateral, regional or international.
The aim of the proposal was to create a unified centre of information and data on treaties, agreements and memoranda of understanding that could be referred to when preparing reports on economic, industrial, trade and investment relations, as well as when following-up on the obligations of the Kingdom of Bahrain according to these treaties, agreements and memoranda and when assessing relations in general with brotherly and friendly countries, the spokesperson said.
This was stated by Sameera Rajab, the State Minister for Information Affairs and Official Spokesperson for the Government during the post Cabinet meeting briefing.
