The Kingdom of Bahrain’s remarkable development strides are the outcome of the wise leadership’s sound vision, and the efforts of Bahraini citizens as well as all foreign communities, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, said.
Shaikh Nasser, who patronised a ceremony organised by the Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) at the Isa Town Sports Hall marking the National and HM the King’s Accession to the Throne Days, in the presence of a large number of expatriates, expressed the Kingdom’s pride in the contributions of expatriate communities to the kingdom’s progress march.
The event was a glaring example of expatriate communities’ love to the Kingdom.
Shaikh Nasser expressed sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who spearheaded the Kingdom’s renaissance march and earned it landmark progress in various fields.
He conveyed to expatriate communities HM King Hamad’s greetings and pride in the key role they have played in the kingdom’s renaissance march.
He highlighted the role played by the Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations in supporting foreign communities, raising their awareness and documenting their work in the open Bahraini society.
“The Kingdom provides all facilities for expatriates so as to avail of their expertise and enable them to contribute to its building and development march.”
He said that Bahrain’s care for expatriate communities reflected its commitment to its responsibilities towards those who live on its land and proved the deep-rooted distinctive features of the Bahraini society as an open and multi-cultural one in which all communities co-exist peacefully.
Secretary General of the Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations Betsy Mathieson extended sincere congratulations to HM King Hamad, noting that the kingdom achieved remarkable development and progress thanks to the sound visions of HM the King and the wise leadership.
She affirmed that Bahrain was a role model of modernity, development, democracy, freedom, co-existence and tolerance, noting that BFEA will continue supporting Bahrain which, she said, “has been –and still is- right place to achieve co-existence and tolerance among all communities.”
She added that BFEA organised such a celebration to tell the world that everyone in Bahrain celebrates the National and Accession days as a token of gratitude to the Kingdom, its wise leadership and people, affirming the expatriate communities’ determination to continue working with the kingdom’s leadership and people so as to bring about more development and progress in all fields.
