MANAMA: The Kingdom of Bahrain has emerged as a role model nation for serving humanity through its charity work, according to Royal Charity Organisation official.
Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, ROC Secretary General told a Press conference that under the directives of HM King the RCO would continue uits endeavour to serve the humanity.
Dr Al Sayed, who was joined JHCO Sec-Gen, Aimen Al-Mufleh, underlined the importance of RCO’s strategy to reach the needy by working humanitarian organisations on the ground to maximise the benefits of charity through a sustained pattern.
“The RCO will continue to work with its partners in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to help millions of Syrian refugees,” he said.
Dr Al Sayed highlighted HM the King’s charity and humanitarian initiatives for various people of the world and the development projects for Syrian refugees in Jordan.
He highlighted cooperation between the two Royal charity organisations to provide charity work and support for Syrian refugees in Jordan.
Earlier, Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Board Chairman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, received the Honorary President of Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal bin Abdullah bin Al-Hussein, on the sidelines of Dialogue among Civilisations and Cultures Conference being held in Bahrain under the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
RCO Chairman hailed JHCO Honorary President’s efforts in promoting charity and humanitarian work.
The parties discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation and reviewed the relief work delivered for Syrian refugees in Jordan, as well as the RCO’s development projects achieved in various afflicted countries.
HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad commended the deep-rooted relations binding the two kingdoms and Jordan’s efforts in supporting Syrian refugees in Jordanian.
