First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa paid a visit to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and got assured about his health.
Shaikh Khalid conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Saudi Monarch, wishes of speedy recovery and supplication to Allah Almighty to bless him with abundant good health.
Upon arrival at the King Abdulaziz Medical City of the Ministry of National Guard in Riyadh, Shaikh Khalid was welcomed by the National Guard Minister HRH Prince Mitab bin Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, princes and senior Saudi officials.
Shaikh Khalid said that Saudi Arabia represents the strategic depth of the GCC countries, praising its crucial role in enhancing joint GCC action, and supporting efforts to promote peace and stability in the Arabian Gulf and the region thanks to King Abdulla’s sound policies.
He lauded the long-standing solid fraternal Bahraini-Saudi relations, describing them as a role model of bilateral ties.
HRH Prince Mitab bin Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud hailed Shaikh Khalid’s visit to get assured about King Abdulla’s health, noting that it reflects the outstanding strong ties bonding the two kingdoms’ leaderships, governments and peoples.
He stressed that Saudi Arabia and Bahrain share common goals and destiny, and their relations are growing steadily.
