Tel Aviv: Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Political Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held talks with Chemi Peres the Chairman of the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, and the Director General of the Center, Efrat Duvdevani.
Also present were alumni of the Center’s programs, as well as its project managers and employees, for a dialogue on coexistence, future challenges, innovation, entrepreneurship and further cooperation.
“We have been building this peace for 11 months and this is only the beginning. We have much in common and there is plenty of potential for further close cooperation,” Shaikh Abdulla said, adding that the late Shimon Peres did a lot for the State of Israel and for the furthering of peace.
“This is why the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation is an integral part of the strategy for peace between Bahrain and Israel,” Shaikh Abdulla said during a meeting with Center’s Director General.
In the meeting, the Chairman of the Center presented Sheikh Abdulla a copy of the book his father wrote before his death, “No Room for Small Dreams.”
