MANAMA: Ithmaar Bank B.S.C. (closed), a Bahrain-based Islamic retail bank, continued to invest in nurturing national talent through its “Ithmaar Energy” internship programme, which is designed to enable university students to gain practical experience in Islamic banking, develop their skills and enhance their career prospects.
A total of 17 students participated in the programme, gaining hands-on experience across various departments at the Bank under the supervision of seasoned professionals. The programme provided participants with a valuable opportunity to apply their academic knowledge into a professional work environment while further cultivating their communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
“Ithmaar Bank remains committed to investing in young Bahraini talent,” Murad Mohamed Ali, Human Resources Manager at Ithmaar, said.
“We aim to introduce initiatives and plans that contribute to reinforcing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position as a key financial hub in the region”.
