Dubai: Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, participated in “The Ministers Roundtable” at the Arab Media Summit 2026 in Dubai, where he highlighted the need for Arab media institutions to actively engage with rapid technological transformations and contribute to shaping their impact while preserving Arab identity and culture.
Dr. Al Noaimi said the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to develop its media sector by keeping pace with modern transformations while preserving national identity, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He emphasised the importance of providing audiences with accurate information, facts and context, and strengthening Arab media coordination to support the regional and international presence of Arab issues and positions.
The minister also highlighted investment in media professionals, modern content and credible Arab perspectives as key to strengthening Arab media and countering misinformation and polarisation.
Dr. Al Noaimi met Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the UAE National Media Office. They discussed cooperation and coordination between media institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
