Manama: Al Areen Development Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with global lifestyle hospitality company Ennismore to manage and operate the Rixos hotel located next to Janat Dilmun Water Park in Al Areen, a step that brings a new international hotel brand to the Al Areen Master Plan and strengthens the area’s position as a leading family leisure and entertainment destination in the Kingdom.
Under the MOU, the hotel will be relaunched under the Rixos brand following a development and upgrade plan in line with brand standards. It will offer an integrated hospitality experience comprising guest rooms and hotel villas, Rixos-branded residential apartments, a selection of restaurants, a spa and gym, ballroom and meeting facilities, and a kids’ club.
The project is directly connected to Janat Dilmun, Bahrain’s largest water park. Together, they will form an integrated stay-and-play destination for families and visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad, in keeping with the distinctive hospitality and entertainment experiences for which Rixos is known.

The MOU was signed at Gateway Gulf in the Kingdom of Bahrain in November 2026, in the presence of Mr. Amin Al Arrayed, Board Member of Al Areen Park Hotel.
