Manama: Olayan Kimberly-Clark has announced the expansion of its manufacturing operations in the Kingdom of Bahrain with an additional production line, reinforcing its commitment to the country and enhancing its ability to meet customer demand across domestic and regional markets.
The announcement was made at the fourth edition of Gateway Gulf, held on 1–2 November 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. Hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB), the forum convenes under the theme “Reimagining Global Partnerships, Powering Sustainable Growth”.
The Bahrain facility manufactures products under globally recognised Kimberly-Clark brands, with the expansion expecting to increase the facility’s production capacity, improve operational flexibility and strengthen supply chain resilience, supporting Bahrain’s industrial growth and economic diversification objectives.
The expansion has also created new local employment opportunities, contributing to workforce growth of more than 10% in 2026. With a Bahrainisation rate of 73%, Olayan Kimberly-Clark continues to invest in national talent and support the development of Bahrain’s manufacturing workforce.
