President Gul voiced his country’s stance as he met a legislative delegation led by Parliament Chairman Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani. The Turkish leader reaffirmed his strong rejection of any sectarian strife which, would only play in the hands of foreign parties.
“Escalating tensions benefits no-one, as it hampers and derails development projects deemed a priority”, he said, hailing His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa’s wise leadership, the Crown Prince’s aspirations and the Premier’s efforts towards promoting Bahrain’s interests. President Gul stressed the importance of exchanged visits between leaders and officials in bolstering cooperation in all fields and spearheading economic development, lauding Bahrain’s pioneering experience and its remarkable parliament.
He also extended his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and the wise leadership. Parliament Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani lauded Turkey’s strong stance, stressing Bahrain’s firm keenness to promote economic and legislative cooperation.
