Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Chairman and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa congratulated today His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on FIA decision to re-include Bahrain Grand Prix in 2011 Formula One races programme.
“The decision is the result of HM the King’s wise handling of the recent incidents in Bahrain which led to the restoration of peace and security in the kingdom,” he said lauding royal support for the sport momentum in Bahrain.
He also praised the unlimited support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa to mainly motorsports in the kingdom commending the pioneering role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, in this field.
“FIA decision underscores the importance of Bahrain as a host of F1 races thanks to the tremendous efforts made by the public and private sectors to ensure success of the international event,” Shaikh Nasser affirmed hailing the efforts of Bahrain International Circuit Board Chairman and members in this regard.
