On the directives of the Minister of Industry and Commerce Dr Hassan Fakhro to ensure the supply of cement in the Kingdom, 6500 tonnes of cement pumped into the market.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce said that the steps taken to ensure the supply of cement in the market yielded positive results.
The Ministry steps also encouraged traders to import cement prices prevailing in the Kingdom of Bahrain and on Monday bulk supply of 4500 tonnes of cement from Saudi Arabia further bolster the cement stock position.
“This amount is more than is required to use on a daily basis in ordinary situations, which will help to bridge the gap the growing needs of this article’s main building, construction and, God willing, will be a stable market in the coming days to the availability of cement for the determination of a number of concrete factories import from other sources,” the Directorate of Domestic Trade Sector at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in a statement said.
