His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa paid tribute to the doctors community for their humanitarian dedication. He was speaking as he received at Al-Safriya Palace Bahrain Medical Society led by Chairman Dr. Nabeel Mohammed Al-Ansari.
HM King thanked Social Developing Minister and Acting Health Minister Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed Al-Balooshi for managing in a short time to restore the situation back to normal.
He also thanked Dr. Al-Ansari for his leadership, courage, interest and patriotism, urging doctors to focus on their humanitarian medical profession. HM the King hailed the health strides achieved so far.
“We take pride as a Bahraini woman made history become the first nurse in the GCC, thus setting a model to emulate for coming generations”, he said, stressing the importance to continue promoting the profession. He also expressed delight at reopening the Salmaniya Medical Complex after a short period and with minimum losses.
“This is the proof that the striking majority wanted live to return back to its normal course in Bahrain”, he said. He paid tribute to doctors for their patriotic stance, saying that they would inspire generations to come. He also outlined Bahrain’s development strides, citing health, educational and housing achievements, in adding to promoting human freedom. Present were Royal Court Minister, Royal Court Follow-up Minister, Social Development Minister and Acting Health Minister.
